I like to combine my wood making hobby with love of graffiti/streetart and I made this one for Obey. Not exactly street art because it’s a wooden piece and not on the street but figured it might be appreciated here and I’ll delete if this isn’t the right place for it

My mural is a visual tribute to unity, cultural memory, and transformation. At its heart, hands joined together symbolize peace, shared vision, and harmony with the land. Geometric patterns reference Indigenous textiles and tools, while a pile of shells anchors the piece in ancestral memory. Native fish and Florida flowers represent life, growth, and connection to place. Waves, glitter, and shifting light evoke nature’s energy and movement. The Channelside wave motif honors Tampa’s evolving identity, and three Tocobaga canoes quietly carry ancestral spirit forward—symbolizing rebirth, resilience, and the continuity of culture.
