This should be easy for you all to figure out because he’s pretty big but my Googling is failing.
He does building sized murals that look almost blurry/pointillistic because he keeps his cans on ice in a cooler to change the consistency of the ink.
Would love to look up more of their work again, or even just learn the name of the technique.

Hi guys I have to stick a fairly large paste up on an outdoors wall and I need it to last years without fading or ripping. I’m thinking of using blueback paper and some sort of industrial adhesive plus maybe a sealant or a kind of protective varnish. I’m a bit nervous cause cause the paper is pretty heavy (125 grams) and I don’t want it to bubble or peel off. Any advice?

Hi everyone! I opened Reddit just to ask this question. I have made Wheatpaste before but I have never made my own glue, The city I live in is extremely humid and rainy so I went for a more durable glue (in my limited understanding) I used a vinylic glue for wallpaper, It holds perfectly, the poster that I pasted it has lasted like a year.

The Idea came when I was travelling to Berlin, Warschau, Riga and Tallinn and I wanted to explore the city. So I made a bit of a prototype. Currently, you can chose between "art", "history" but also nature but nature seems to give worse results. History giving good ones in Bern, but unsure how it performs in other countries.

Planets are popular to make / there is lots of how-to's out there. But they're all on canvases. Indeed, when taking the methods to street, it failed miserably. Namely, the texturing or smearing of the paints doesn't seem to work on the stones, especially if it's extra rough. Though, I am a beginner, so if it does work the same is there something painfully obvious I might be not/doing?

I got a gig doing a temporary outdoor installation for a theater in my city. The artwork needs to be removed at the end of June and then they are power washing the building. So i went out the other day with a writer I look up to, but without cans – just paste ups.
We did a collabo piece where I put my design slightly over his to "merge" it together. I want to go to a somewhat run down ghost town and do a few murals based on the local community, how do I go about the permitting? I did some research but it seems vague, from what I’ve seen I obviously need permission from the property owner but it also says a $50 fee, scaling drawings & a rough sketch of the mural.
I live in Lousiana if that helps, just want to know what I would have to do to get the green light because I dont want any problems!

Street art "painting" done in under 8 minutes flat using common household items. His technique is mind-blowing and produces a beautiful image of the city. I still can't get over how fast this guy can work and what an image it conveys from blank canvas to finished product. I wish I had this kind of ability. He makes it look so easy. See it now:

I was lucky as they didn't notice me (don't ask me what they were doing there) so I escaped and later finished the play after they disappeared. You get a pretty big fine if you get caught in Germany. This might be the wrong sub, but I'm hoping to get some advice.
I'd like to start dabbling in murals, starting out pretty modest in size. My plan is to work digitally first and then use a projector onto a wall to paint my art. My first project will be indoors so the projector doesn't have to be super bright, just reasonably bright.
What am I looking for when it comes to projectors? I've seen some ~£250 projectors that look like they'd do the job but I don't want to buy a projector that ends up

 | In 1961, Flip Schulke (Sports Illustrated) captured an up-and-coming black boxer submerged in one of the few desegregated pools in America at a hotel in Overtown. The hotel was torn down to make way for i-95. This became one of the most iconic photos in sports history as 19-year-old named Cassius Clay, trained in a pool because “the water resistance acts just like weight”. The rest is history. So - I live in a poor neighborhood. For more than a year there was this government building with a cracked glass door. It was a huge crack, very unattractive, kids would have to push on this glass door to get into the building, which didn't look super safe, but it was clear that while the government would have likely quickly replaced this door had it been in one of the wealthier neighborhoods, they were happy to just let it make the neighborhood look ugly in a poorer neighborhood.
