Hey, I’ve been really into graffiti and tagging lately. I just find it super interesting and visually cool, and I get this strong urge to try it myself.
But I’m a bit confused about it. I don’t really understand what it actually gives you as a person besides the art itself. Like, is it just for expression, adrenaline, community, or something else?
I’m not talking about doing anything illegal or causing trouble — I just want to understand the culture and why people get into it.
So I’m curious:
* Why did you start graffiti?
* What does it give you personally?
* Is it worth it as a hobby in the long run?
Would appreciate honest answers from people who actually do it or know the scene.
