Hey there!

I spend a lot of time exploring parks, streets, and trails for hidden ar such as painted rocks, murals, stickers, and anything creative that shows up off the beaten path.

I started working on ArtDrops because I wanted a simple way to find and share these discoveries. It’s a free map where anybody can pin art drops, upload a photo, and leave behind a clue so others can find their piece. You can also print a QR code for your art if you want to mark it in the real world.

The platform is in its early days, but I’d love to know what you think. What would actually make this useful for you? Any safety ideas I should keep in mind if people want to post real locations? If you use other apps for stuff like this, what works and what doesn’t?

Here’s the link: https://artdrops.app

Feedback is welcome. Happy to answer questions or hear any art-related stories too.

ASP 02 S9 TransArtSpots is a non-profit and 100% community-driven project. We run it because we love to discover art and share it with others. The app does not contain any ads and we do not get money from this project at all. That's why we ask for your help!

Wanna help spread the word about the App?

It would be great if you can tell your friends about ArtSpots, or if you run a website or blog, share the news and post a page. If you are active on social media, please also spread the word among your friends - art needs a space without commerce and it should be us, who count, not money and some shareholders. Thank you!

If you need pictures and stuff, here is the download to a media package, containing screens of the app, the image teaser and a short description you can freely use.

See you in ArtSpots.
