Went to Bristol over the weekend, decided to stroll the city to view some of the earliest works from local lad Banksy (some of which have been around so long they're not doing well, sadly, and definitely won't last forever). Big added bonus was the incredible street art all over the Stokes Croft area. If you ever visit this neighbourhood, my advice is to (a) look up or you may miss something right over your head, and (b) make sure to pop into Stokes Croft China which is part of a collective, including People's Republic of Stokes Croft, that supports local community activism.
