![]() | Today Banksy revealed a mural of a judge striking a protester with his gavel, right outside the Royal Courts of Justice. Within hours, it was hidden. This isn’t just a stencil—it’s a performance. The piece exists as much in its erasure as in its creation. I’ve been working on a deeper study of how Banksy uses anonymity, placement, and spectacle to outsmart the art world. If you’re interested, check it out here. 👉 What do you think—was this mural’s true power in the image itself, or in the fact it was erased so fast? [link] [comments] |

Hi all Street-Art lovers!
I'm myself a big fan of walking around the cities and exploring great murals around. However I was always disappointed because there were no good app to check up-to-date (well, even any) murals around. Usually what you could find is some google map with markers which was updated 2-5-10 years ago. To make it even worse, for each new city it would be some different map (or even just a text description!).
You'll say "But what about streetartcities/streeet.art/you name it?". Well, they might be good for some places, but not good for other cities or countries. What makes my service different?
Of course it's very early stage, many cool features might be not there yet (*like export), but I already used it myself during a few street-art focused walks and I love it! Check it out and let me know what do you think - https://mural.place/
