I set out to stand in Washington Square Park for 24 hours, inviting strangers to draw, write, and attach symbolic objects to my white suit. The goal? To transform individual expressions into a shared story of identity, resilience, and belonging.
But after 8 hours, the rain forced me to stop—leaving behind an unfinished yet powerful piece of wearable art.
💵 High school kids chipped in $4, $8, and $3 in cash. 📲 Two people sent $10 and $50 on Venmo. 🍽️ Every dollar ($75 total) went to City Harvest to fight hunger.
This wasn’t just about art—it was about sparking dialogue on food insecurity, economic hardship, and the power of collective expression.
