Born Georgos Georgopoulos, a humble half-Greek half-Bristolian artist from North London, he spent three decades anonymously transforming the walls of the world while quietly installing Perspex in the greater London area.

That anonymity is now gone. Reuters, using what they call "reverse forensic journalism" and what Georgos calls snooping with a press pass, have exposed the man behind the rat, the girl, the balloon, and the Spy Booth.

The media harassment has been relentless. The legal fees are real. The financial situation is difficult. Yes there was a painting at Sothebys, but it was shredded, and honestly that is on all of us.

Georgos is reaching out to his true fans directly, bypassing the institutions, the galleries, and the press, in the spirit of everything he has ever made.
